“The key architectural intervention was to enable double exposure of light by creating a sense of openness from floor to ceiling. The rhythm of the blinds helped to achieve a homogenic expression as they are able to blur the lines of the vertical volume through their horizontal nature. At the same time, they take away focus from the small windows that hide behind the blinds and, therefore, enlarge the volume as well as the homogenic effect even more. At night time, they turn into lanterns with light shining through from spots inside the window nook. The glow it creates turns the apartment into a cozy space when it’s dark outside.”

Living Art er stolte af vores tætte samarbejde med Designer og Arkitekt David Thulstrup og hans team, som vi igennem årene har lavet flere spændende projekter sammen med.
Restaurant Noma og Chimney House for blot at nævne et par af dem. Med Davids tilgang til interiør og arkitektur, hvor han blander traditionel æstetik med moderne enkelhed og naturligvis tilpasset kundens identitet har vi sammen formået at få de smukkeste resultater med moderne tekstiler og designløsninger i projekterne. I David Thulstrups eget hjem var lyset det afgørende i valget af smukke brede persienner og i tegnestuen var det hele det æstetiske udtryk med god akustisk virkning der gjorde de mange smukke meter tekstil.
